Description
Within a Digital Drift System, the Quadport is used to break out standard-compliant PoE+ network ports from the coaxial cable. Quadports are placed in the locations where endpoint network devices are required, with the Digital Drift ULR coaxial cable supplying power and backhauling high-speed data. Sites typically attach the following devices to QuadPorts:
- Wireless access points (Wi‐Fi & LTE);
- IP video cameras;
- Asset tracking readers;
- IoT gateways;
- Environmental sensors;
- Control systems.
DD220-QP-GU is equipped with an unmanaged Layer 2 switch
Features:
– IEEE 802.3af / IEEE 802.3at PoE+ (30W per port)
– Built-in high efficiency booster (94 – 97%) to create 55V for PoE outputs. Guarantees PoE power delivery out to 100m.
In the box:
1 x (DD220-QP-GU) QuadPort
1 x (DD-CABLE-N-N-2) N-Male to N-Male connecting cable (2m, 75Ohm)
