Description

This series can be used to receive DAB or DAB+ Broadcast signals off-air, and re-generate and amplify them to fixed RF output levels.

This provides the rebroadcast of one DAB or DAB+ ensemble, and it provides the rebroadcast of two DAB or DAB+ ensembles. Multiple DAB174230 units can be implemented within a design to rebroadcast more than two ensembles when required. One RF output is provided for rebroadcasting signals into a tunnel bore. Two (or more) units may are required for multi-bore and multizone applications (such as two separate “bores” in a road tunnel).

An “audio break-in” feature enables live or pre-recorded messages to interrupt the rebroadcast transmissions on all stations in all ensembles being rebroadcast, allowing for public address or incident management messages to be broadcast. Break-in messages may be stored within the unit, interfaced via analog audio inputs, or interfaced via (optional) VOIP. A comprehensive integral webserver GUI provides configuration and status display of the unit’s comprehensive functionality and performance monitoring.
