The Digital Drift DC Splice is installed immediately after a DC power supply to:
• Adapt regular DC power cable to the coaxial cable format
• Protect the power supply from short circuits on the coaxial cable
• Protect the coaxial cable and communications devices from the reverse voltage being applied to the system.
