Description
These arrays utilize an internal phasing harness using PIM-rated PTFE-based coaxial cable as well as a custom dipole design to improve weatherproofing and resist bird attack. The use of a unique phasing arrangement provides extensive sidelobe suppression and null fill characteristics. The arrays will accept an input power level of 500 watts continuously, making them ideal for high-power multiple transmitter applications. The BA8080 series are offered in 0° or 3° downtilt variants*, to further enhance close-in coverage characteristics. All welded alodined aluminum construction and fabrication techniques in both the harness and dipole sections have proven to minimize intermodulation and noise generated within the antennas. The entire array rests at ground potential and offers the ultimate in lightning-resistant antennas. • Ideal for highly populated sites requiring long haul omnidirectional coverage • Operate over entire 400-520 MHz bands • 9 dBd gain version available with optional PA82-67 External harness • Inverted mounting version available • Versions with 0° or 3° of downtilt available* • Extensive side lobe suppression • Industry-leading PIM ratings (-150dBc) providing low IM and low noise characteristics for optimum performance *See you local RFI Sales representative if other downtilt variant required.
